Dr Shabana Bora

A dedicated fertility consultant with over twelve years of experience in women's health and reproductive medicine, Shabana has spent eight years at one of London’s top fertility clinics, combining evidence-based practices with emotional support to empower clients on their journey to parenthood, providing personalised treatments tailored to each patient's needs.

Shabana offers compassionate care for those requiring IVF, ICSI, egg or sperm donation, egg freezing, or general fertility advice.

 

She specialises in treating women with low ovarian reserve, endometriosis, PCOS, and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) emphasising holistic care by integrating lifestyle, nutrition, and emotional support into her practice.

 

Outside of consulting, Shabana is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), BFS (British Fertility Society), BMS (British Menopause Society), and ESHRE.

 

She achieved her own family through IVF and understands the importance of providing an empathic approach, ensuring they feel supported at every step of their fertility journey and to help achieve their dreams of parenthood.

Dr Kate Maclaran

Kate is a consultant gynaecologist and an accredited subspecialist in reproductive medicine and Surgery. With extensive experience in all areas of fertility and gynaecology, Kate has a particular interest in assisted conception, low ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome, ovulation induction, and reproductive surgery.

Kate completed postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in North West London and subspecialty training at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She holds an MD Research degree from Imperial College London, where she investigated the safety of testosterone use in women, and continues to be actively involved in research.

​

Passionate about patient support and advocating for women's health issues, Kate has co-authored a consensus paper for the European Society of Cardiology on the connection between gynaecological conditions and cardiovascular health, as well as a Lancet paper on early menopause.

 

She is also a trustee and past chair of the Daisy Network, a charity dedicated to supporting women with premature ovarian insufficiency.
