Charity Social Event — Tuesday 4th November
We kicked off the week with our first-ever social fundraising event in support of Fertility Network UK. Held in the beautiful LIPS Healthcare pharmacy, the evening offered a warm and welcoming space for conversations around fertility health.
We were honoured to be joined by Dr Kate Maclaran, Dr Shabana Bora, Dr Georgievska, and specialist fertility nutritionist Neema Savvides. Neema has long been a valued support to our patients, offering expert nutritional guidance ahead of assisted conception treatment, and we were thrilled to have her share her insights with attendees.
LIPS Healthcare kindly provided refreshments, including delicious tea and cakes, which helped create a relaxed environment for guests to explore topics such as egg freezing, egg donation, fertility preservation, and more.
All proceeds from our prize draw were donated to Fertility Network UK, and we were proud to contribute to their vital work supporting individuals and families navigating fertility challenges.
Holistic Fertility Live Event — Wednesday 12th November
Our second event of the week was a live-streamed holistic fertility session, also attended by guests in person. We partnered with Alice Rose, founder of Fertility Life Raft, to host an evening focused on empowering, evidence-based fertility information.
The expert panel included Dr Shabana Bora, renowned nutritionist Melanie Brown, specialist GP Dr Divpreet Sacha, and fertility acupuncturist Sara Balogun. After a welcome drink, attendees settled in to hear Alice lead an engaging conversation on a range of key topics, including:
- the role of nutrition and complementary therapies
- male fertility factors
- home ovarian reserve testing
- how to navigate online fertility advice
- identifying myths vs reliable information
The session was insightful, supportive, and full of practical information—an evening that resonated with everyone who attended.
We are once again incredibly grateful to LIPS Healthcare for their support. Many guests were visiting Battersea Power Station for the first time, making the event even more memorable.
